Crissie Manfre

Crissie Manfre is a Strength Coach and Pilates Instructor with a strong passion for both weightlifting and core exercises that stretch and strengthen the whole body. She was put in the weight room to lift with the high school football team at age 15 due to an ankle surgery. The mechanics and challenge of lifting weights came easy to Crissie and she never looked back. She began her career at the Sport and Health Club of Bethesda, Maryland, to then becoming the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, as well as a coach for the Worksite Wellness Program of the College. Crissie holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Promotion and Psychology. Throughout her career she has trained individuals up to groups of 40 people with diverse goals, including weight loss, strength, speed, agility development, and injury prevention. Her personal achievements include competing in Masters Nationals in 2021 as a Master's Olympic weightlifter through United States Weightlifting. She loves ice hockey, and plays wherever she can find ice in Louisiana, (go Washington Capitals!). Currently, she is an apprentice in the Romana’s Pilates International Training Program and plans to complete that certification by early 2025. Crissie loves teaching and encouraging others to move at their level of experience or ability, and to keep good habits for a peaceful and healthy life.
